Sibiu, Romania

This was my first experience of snowing. I am very excited.
Nevertheless, my trip was totally jeopardized by snowing. It snowed from the night I arrived to the day I left. It was a little bit annoying.
There was no Wifi in Siiu train station and it was pretty cold inside the station. The fare was too expensive. I should take a bus instead of train. :(

I like Sibiu, a cultural and historical town.

I planned to join free city walking tour at 11am but I waited at a wrong place. Therefore I just walked around the city according to the map. Since the weather was getting cold, the old town was not vibrant as during summer.

I stayed at Yuyan’s home. She is an Indonesia doctor who studies in Romania. Her plan is really smart: studying in a cheap European country (Romania) and works in an expensive European country (United Kingdom). It is really a genius way to get a license to work in Europe.

Yuyan’s landlady is a smart cook. She is 70 years old. However she just got her lawyer qualification a few years ago. Now she gives her free solicitation service to the poor. She is a retired teacher. After she retired, she involved in community service actively. Now, she has become a solicitor and fight for the right of the poor.

Train from Gorna Oryahovitsa to Bucuresti

I took the 0045 train without buying ticket (26 Lev)  in advance. The international office was closed. I could only buy a ticket to Ruse. Nevertheless, we were allowed to pay to Romania train officer on train. The officer didn’t give me the ticket but took some money from me. She confirmed that there would not be ticket checking.
Although there was so sleeper class, I still feel quite comfortable since there were only a few passengers. Two Chiles and I occupied one cabin. Heater service was efficiency
Everything was on the right way.

Good Bye Bulgaria

I have stayed in Bulgaria for three weeks. It is an amazing country. It may the cheapest country in Europe. You can enjoy your life here.
I went to a bar. The first hour was amazing. Traditional music was played and I only took a free drink.  When the night was getting late, rock music was played. I felt tire to stand for one hour so leaving the bar

I felt a little bit sad to leave Trinity Rock Farm. I informed Edward that I was leaving. He was 72 years old and I almost cry when he expressed no interest in life. He was waiting to leave the world. I hoped he can be surrounded by his family soon. May God bless you, Edward.

Fling Relationship

Why they hang out at farm? why don't watch movie at the girl house? Don't they feel inconvenient that I am sitting among them?
Why come so long away to sit together on couch to watch movie? Why they don't kiss?
Watch movie here till midnight and then the men follow the girl back again?
Good bye..enjoy your night again.
Better hang out at the girl house...no one disturb.
hahaha

This morning, I asked him about his relationship with the British girl. There is no love but fun only. He explained that this was 'human nature'. This kind of temporary relationship which is called fling, is very normal in their cultures. He has never speak out "I love you" to the girl and they just did it. He believed the girl did not love him too since she understand that he just spend a month here.

30 November 2012
This is the last night in November. My lovely dorm mate went to have happy time with the British girl again. It is good that they don't hang out here. Otherwise, I feel a little bit uneasy to be the "bulb" between them. I am alone and suddenly feel a little bit lonely. oohhh no no no I should enjoy my time too..of course... according to the teaching of Bible.  what should I do to dispel my loneliness...let eat ...haha tummy tummy please leave me alone

Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria

Half day walking trip in Veliko Tarnovo.
I met a gypsy lady and she show me the way to Aseners Monument. Then I decided to walk myself instead of her company. When the day was getting dark and I waited at the bus station, I met her again. It was too bad that she can't understand English, I could not express my gratitude and share gospel to her.

European Union has contributed huge fund to Bulgarian's development. Some Europeans complained that it was wasting money due to the embezzlement.

My days in Bulgaria is great. I spent more than three weeks here (10 November 2012 to 3 December 2012). Everything was not expensive. I met some Christian family such as Martin, Helen and other Bulgarians. There were not many Christian here.
My host Cliffe: We only spent few days together since he left Veliko Tarnovo to United Kingdom for family time. He was very energetic and applied healthy lifestyle. Because of him, I started the habit of eating the skins of fruits such as orange, kiwi etc
Colby Brown: A volunteer from United States. I spent most of my time with him. He was a charming young American. He was kind and honest. He applied an unhealthy lifestyle. We were from different worlds. Nevertheless, it was a wonderful experience to have his company. I learnt a lot about United States from him. I prayed that he would be touched by God’s love soon hahaha.

Shipka and Buzludzha, Bulgaria
