Zheravna
Zheravna,
the small village of Kotel only attracted Bulgarian tourists. I saw the blue
blue sky in the daytime and thousands of twinkling stars in the night time. The
village on the mountain slope was quiet and peaceful. Horses, goats and sheep
kept your company.

I attended
a Sunday Service at a Kotel’s gypsy church. This was my first time to meet
gypsy. However, none of them can speak English but I can feel the love of Jesus
Christ among them.
Gypsy has a
bad reputation in Europe. They are complained for dirtiness (it can be proven
by the residents area which was full of rubbish especially the river), drinking
(it seem to be true that many sisters have drinking and irresponsible husbands)
and unemployed / lazy. Nevertheless, brothers and sisters that I met in church
were friendly. The limited communication via gesture were warm especially the
mama (the leader of the church), she was so kind, warm and full with love. She
invited us for tea and cookies, we can’t understand each other though; she
froze at the street to say goodbye to us; she gave us a pile of woods since the
weather was getting cold…hug us with her warm smiles….

Leather
products in Bulgaria were cheaper than Malaysia. I have bought a pair
of leather shoes only RM 38. There were multi choices you can find in
Silvia walking street. Never rush to buy but compare the price shop to
shop
